My son wanted to have burgers for dinner. I could have made them our usual way, but a I wanted to make some as special as he is. Pinterest is a wonderful thing, and I found a recipe that intrigued me. They're made a bit differently and claim to be full of savory flavor. Sold!
I changed up some things. I made six, instead of eight. I used 90/10 beef, added minced onions to the meat, used less butter, and used kaiser rolls. I also kept the tops, so ours weren't open-faced. We topped ours with the works - provolone, bacon, spinach, avocado, and condiments. They were so good, and the recipe's a definite keeper!
